To level up characters beyond their maximum level, you'll need to promote them. You can promote your characters by going to the Base and then clicking on Character Promotion.

1-star characters are not able to be promoted and can not be leveled up beyond 100. 2-star characters have a maximum promotion level of 4.5 stars, meaning their final maximum level is 160.
