You can separately enable or disable the Sounds and Music in-game. To turn off the game music or sounds, tap on the Settings menu on your screen, just below the Inventory button. 

From there, you have the option to separately enable or disable the "Music" and "Sound Effects". 

• If there is no checkmark, the option is currently off
• If there is a checkmark, the option is on
